Licensing terms

This Agreement is made between pointprimerecordings.com (“Licensor”) and the purchaser (“Licensee”). By purchasing a license from pointprimerecordings.com, you automatically agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Grant of License The Licensor grants the Licensee Non-Exclusive Rights to use the musical instrumental (the “Beat”) to create a new musical composition/song.

2. License Types

A. Standard Lease (MP3)

  • File Format: Untagged MP3 (320kbps).
  • Recording Rights: Permitted for use in a new recording (Vocals/Lyrics added).
  • Distribution Limit: Up to [e.g., 5,000] audio streams (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, etc.).
  • Video: 1 Music Video allowed (YouTube) – Non-monetized.
  • Radio: Radio airplay is not permitted.
  • Term: [e.g., 3 Years or Perpetual].

B. Premium / Unlimited Lease (WAV + Stems)

  • File Formats: Untagged WAV (24bit) + Trackout/Stems (Separate audio tracks for mixing).
  • Recording Rights: Permitted for use in a new recording.
  • Distribution Limit: [e.g., Unlimited] audio streams and sales.
  • Video: Unlimited Music Videos allowed with monetization.
  • Radio: Radio airplay is permitted.

3. Credit Requirement The Licensee must credit the Licensor in all metadata, titles, and descriptions wherever the song is distributed or uploaded.

  • Format: “Prod. by [Your Name]” or “Music by [Your Name]”

4. Content ID & Copyright (IMPORTANT) Since this is a NON-EXCLUSIVE license, the Licensee is STRICTLY PROHIBITED from:

  • Submitting the track to any Content ID system (YouTube Content ID, Facebook Rights Manager, Tunecore/Distrokid monetization, etc.). Doing so causes false copyright strikes against other artists who leased the same beat.
  • Reselling, transferring, or giving away the beat file to third parties.
  • Registering the instrumental with any Copyright Office. You own the copyright to your lyrics and melody only; the Licensor retains ownership of the instrumental.

5. Ownership The Licensor (pointprimerecordings.com) retains 100% copyright and ownership of the instrumental. The Licensor reserves the right to continue selling licenses for this beat to other artists.
