About Point prime recordings
Point Prime Recordings (PPR) is an independent record label founded and operated by a single creator — Roman Keyes, who is a producer and recording artist building original music across metal, hard rock, and hip-hop genres. PPR is a named label with real artists, genre-specific catalogs, and a dedicated sync-licensing pathway for music supervisors, game studios, trailer houses, and content creators. The catalog covers heavy tracks built for action, drama, and high-energy placements, alongside hip-hop instrumentals available for direct purchase. PPR holds no major-label affiliation. The label is artist-owned, founder-operated, and built on the principle that creative and commercial control belong in the same hands.

The Founding
Point Prime Recordings was built out of a belief that original music deserves a real label behind it — even when that label is one person.
Roman Keyes, the founder of PPR is a musician, producer, and recording artist. Rather than releasing music without the right infrastructure to back it up, the decision was made to build PPR as the structural home for everything: distribution, publishing, sync licensing, and direct sales. Producing the music and owning the business are not two separate things at PPR. They have always been the same thing.
PPR exists because the founder got tired of watching independent artists hand over creative and commercial control to structures that didn’t serve them. Building the label meant building it right — with master recording rights and publishing rights consolidated from day one, and with a direct line between the music and the people who license it.
Our Music
Point Prime Recordings publishes original music across metal, hard rock, and hip-hop/trap genres. Every release is produced, recorded, and owned outright by the founder. The catalog is built for two audiences: music supervisors and content creators seeking sync-ready heavy music, and producers and recording artists seeking quality hip-hop instrumentals for their own projects.
All PPR releases are distributed to major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. Artist profiles are listed in the /artists/ section.
Our Mission
Point Prime Recordings is built on one principle: independent music deserves the same infrastructure that major-label artists take for granted — ownership, distribution, sync-ready formatting, and a direct line to the people who license music for a living.
Every PPR release is formatted for sync from the production stage: instrumental versions prepared, metadata documented, master and publishing ownership clear and consolidated. Sync licensing is the primary commercial model for the metal and rock catalog — not an afterthought.
The goal is straightforward: to be the label that music supervisors reach for when they need reliable, one-stop heavy music, and the beat store that producers trust when they need quality hip-hop instrumentals. One label. One point of contact. Full ownership on every release.
